With small Art Department budget of $1,200, half a day to set-dress, and no room for errors, Nicholas led the Production Design of the USC Thesis film Straw Man. 

Utilizing his background in 3D, he created pre-visualizations of the shooting location to ensure that everything was built to the right size while taking account of camera placement and framing.
