As scientific exploration of this Inner Space continues, it is critical that we develop new tools of communication and representation.

Combining the rigor and precision of science and design, the Inner Space artscientists are creating a world inside a single Pancreatic Beta Cell. In addition to making complex scientific concepts approachable, this post-disciplinary project is facilitating collaborations that advance our understanding of the complex inner workings of the human body.
